How to Rotate PDF Pages
- 1
Upload your PDF
Click the upload zone or drag and drop your PDF. Your file stays on your device and is never sent to a server.
- 2
Set the rotation angle and pages
Choose 90°, 180°, or 270°. Select "All pages" to rotate the entire document, or "Specific pages" and enter the page numbers.
- 3
Rotate and download
Click "Rotate PDF". The rotated file downloads automatically — open it in any PDF viewer to confirm.
Scanned documents often arrive sideways or upside down. PDFs exported from some applications land in landscape orientation when you need portrait. want2convert's Rotate PDF tool corrects these issues instantly, without uploading your file anywhere.
Three rotation angles: Choose 90° clockwise, 180° (flip), or 270° clockwise (equivalent to 90° counter-clockwise). The rotation applies to the PDF page orientation metadata — the actual content is not re-rendered, so there is no quality loss even after multiple rotations.
Rotate all pages or just a few:By default the tool rotates every page in the document. Switch to "Specific pages" and enter the page numbers you need — for example 1, 3, 5-7 rotates pages 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7 while leaving all others unchanged. This is useful when only a portion of a scanned batch needs correcting.
Compatibility: The tool works with any standard PDF. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first — use the Unlock PDF tool, then come back here. The output PDF is compatible with all major PDF viewers including Adobe Acrobat, Preview on macOS, and Chrome's built-in viewer.
If you need to reorder pages as well as rotate them, use the Reorder PDF tool after rotating, or rotate first and then merge the result with other documents using Merge PDF.
